Research profile

Heinrich Heine University (HHU) traces its roots back to the former Medical Academy Düsseldorf.  To this day, it puts special focus on the life sciences, where four of the currently five key research areas are located.

HHU’s research profile is divided into key research areas and potential fields. Today, there are five key research areas, each of which is supported by major, externally funded collaborative projects.
